Fred Tomaselli: Paper

White Cube Mason's Yard
Until May 13
‘Paper’ an exhibition by Fred Tomaselli has opened at White Cube, Mason’s Yard. Tomaselli worked on the ‘The New York Times’ during the Bush administration and he's been incorporating headlines from this period into his work ever since.

Exhibits consist of a selection of photograms and digital copies of originally dated newspaper pages, boosted visually by a Tomaselli makeover. These large-scale compositions consist of drawings, paint and other materials.

Tragedy, reality and the absurdity of global politics are central to the theme, resulting in humorous, surreal and bizarre compositions; an expressive timeline of Tomaselli’s own experiences and the way he views the world.
